Bitcoin volatility has collapsed and it's value increases by a few percentages year over year, making it the perfect safe asset to hold for people nearing retirement. Young people can make more money investing in the stock market and rebalancing the portfolio with Bitcoin as they get older. In this scenario if you are seeking high risk/reward plays, then Bitcoin will not deliver.
In case you live under a rock, we're nowhere near that scenario. You're still very early.
