Is my Bitcoin Node operational?

Hi everyone! I just installed a Bitcoin node following the guide mentioned above. I followed every step to the letter and got the message “Bitcoin Core Starting”. Also if I use the command “Bitcoin-cli help”, I receive a list with possible commands relative to this Bitcoin node. I also tested my inbound connection using step 9 from the guide, which is successful. I have thus opened port 8333 on my router, which seems to work fine. I am using Raspberry Pi 4 and a 500GB Hard Drive. I have downloaded Bitcoin Core version 22.0. However.. my hard drive is still at 465GB of free space. While the guide says it may take a while, it should already have started downloading the blockchain. I don’t really see any activity and thus I also don’t really whether this has now started or not. Would someone be able to get this started? I would be forever grateful! [link] [comments] |
