Kraken Halting Service In Maine for Vague Reasons
Got a lovely email this morning about how Kraken has decided to stop providing services to people that reside in the state of Maine. The services will be shut down on June 1st and clients have until then to withdraw or move funds as necessary. There are no clear reasons given for this decision and nothing in the news that I can find that could lead them to make a decision like this. They say they plan to restore services at some point in the future but have no idea when if at all.
This concerns the hell out of me. Y'all got anything that could prove to be the cause of this?
(Side note: I don't live in Maine anymore, I just forgot to update my residency so I'll be ok.)
