Is it Safe to Use a New Phone for Bitcoin Transactions?
Hey everyone,
If I buy a brand-new phone straight from the factory and install the Green Wallet app by compiling the APK from the source code myself, then use this phone exclusively for receiving and sending Bitcoin, is there any real risk of getting hacked? I’m struggling to understand how I could be hacked if I’m only using Wi-Fi to transmit transactions and check balances. What are the risks of storing private keys on a device dedicated solely to this purpose?
