Bybit vs Binance why i run both instead of picking one.
Bought my first Bitcoin on Binance back in 2018 and stayed there out of habit for years.
Started using Bybit about seven months ago after a friend showed me his actual trade receipts on BTC spot the spreads he was getting were consistently tighter than what I was paying.
Did some test buys side by side and yeah, the difference is real on size.
Binance still wins on raw liquidity. If you're moving serious BTC volume in one go the book on Binance is just deeper and you'll feel less slippage on a market order.
Bybit caught up on the stuff that actually matters to me as someone stacking sats the BTC withdrawal fee is lower (last time I withdrew it was 0.00005 BTC vs Binance asking more)
and the withdrawal-to-cold-storage flow has been faster from my account at least.
Both let me whitelist my hardware wallet address which is what I actually care about.
So I stopped trying to pick a "best" exchange. I keep small operating amounts on both, buy where the spread is better that day, and the moment I've accumulated enough I send everything to my cold storage.
Not your keys, not your Bitcoin.
The endless "which exchange is best" debates are honestly engagement bait. Pick whatever lets you stack BTC most efficiently and gets it off the exchange the fastest.
